 on\nfilmmaker Sandy Cummings.\n\nThe film follows the remarkable journey o
 f Charity Woodrum from\ngrowing up in poverty in rural Oregon\, through tr
 agedy\, as she\ndoggedly pursues her dream of becoming a NASA astrophysici
 st. Dr.\nWoodrum was a student at the University of Oregon when she lost h
 er\nhusband and 3-year-old son tragically. With help from childhood\nfrien
 ds\, mentors and perfect strangers\, she was able to get her life\nback on
  track\, finding purpose and meaning by exploring far-off\ngalaxies. \n\n
