OAR 333-062-1000 5.7.3.5.5 states “Erosion feeders shall only have chemicals added that are approved by the manufacturer.”
The Pendleton Family Aquatic Center uses Pulsar erosion feeders. Pulsar only approves Pulsar branded chlorine to be used in these feeders.
The regional distributor for Pulsar Chlorine is currently Lincoln Aquatics.
Therefore the City of Pendleton Parks and Recreation Department intends to purchase Pulsar Chlorine Briquettes from Lincoln Aquatics without a bid process for the 2026-27 fiscal year.
