Code Enforcement Officer

The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for a Code Enforcement Officer. This position is responsible for assisting in identification, documentation, tracking and enforcement of Ordinance violations related to building and planning codes, animals, parking, solid waste, dead storage of vehicles and nuisance abatement within the City of Pendleton. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Classes in criminal justice, construction, animal sciences, and/or communications preferred, but not required. Have valid Oregon driver’s license, be able to pass a background investigation and obtain LEDS/CJIS certification within 1 year of hire. Must be able to work in diverse indoor/outdoor environments while being exposed to exhaust, dust and animals. Salary range is $4,931-$6,895 per month DOQ plus benefits.
