 The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for an Airport Operations & Maintenance Specialist for the Airport.  Position is responsible for the maintenance of the Airport grounds and buildings.  Requires technical skills in the construction, installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of city facilities and requires the ability to gain expertise in the requirements applicable to airport operation.  Duties include: inspections, runway maintenance, snow removal, mowing, weed spraying, and facility maintenance including terminal, shop, hangars, pilot’s quarters as well as residential and commercial properties owned and leased by the airport, and some record keeping.  Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, communicate effectively on the radio, and operate hand and power tools, mowers, snow plow, front-end loader, fork lift and dump truck.  Position requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds.  Basic computer skills needed. Must be available weekends and nights for emergency calls.
