The City of Pendleton is seeking a detail‑oriented Medical Biller to support the Fire & Ambulance Department. This role is responsible for processing ambulance service claims, applying accurate EMS-specific coding, verifying insurance, managing patient accounts, posting payments, and resolving denials. The position also maintains billing and EHR records, prepares reports, and ensures compliance with HIPAA, CMS, and ambulance billing regulations. Candidates should have 1–3 years of medical billing experience (EMS preferred), strong attention to detail, proficiency with billing software and Microsoft Office, and supervisory experience required. A valid driver’s license and ability to meet security requirements are also required. Salary range is $4,849 - $6,109/month plus excellent benefits.
