Do you like working outside and being physically active? Then consider a summer job with the Public Works Department. Wage ranges from $13.70- $16.45 per hour, depending on experience. The position will perform labor in one or more of the following areas: trimming brush or trees, painting, mowing, sweeping, general cleaning of facilities, electronic data collection, and assisting with other general maintenance tasks. Must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, operate hand and limited power tools, and use an electronic device for data collection. Position requires walking, bending, stooping, and lifting. Valid driver’s license and ability to pass the criminal background check required.
