The City of Pendleton is accepting applications for a UAS Business Development Specialist to lead customer engagement, marketing, and industry outreach for the Pendleton UAS Range—one of the nation’s busiest unmanned aircraft testing sites. The role focuses on attracting new users, strengthening existing partnerships, managing the CRM system, and promoting the Range, Airport, and broader economic development opportunities. Key work includes coordinating customer visits, developing proposals, overseeing marketing and digital content, representing the Range at industry events, and supporting business recruitment and airport tenant development.
Minimum requirements: Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years of experience, valid driver’s license, ability to pass a background check, and U.S. passport.
The wage range is $6,211 - $7,685 per month DOE plus excellent benefits.
This role involves both indoor and outdoor work at Range and airport sites, occasional travel, and a flexible schedule based on customer operations.
