Contacting the Court Clerk

Please note that court clerks are unable to answer the phone while court is in session. If you reach voicemail, please leave a detailed message, and your call will be returned as soon as possible.

Please do not contact the Finance Office with Municipal Court questions.

If you are calling about a criminal case and you are represented by an attorney, please contact your attorney directly.

Court Clerk Office Hours

• Monday: Clerk out of the office (Court in session)
• Tuesday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Wednesday: Clerk out of the office (Court in session)
• Thursday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
• Friday: Office open for payments only; Court Clerk is unavailable.

Municipal Court Schedule

• Monday: Court begins at 8:15 a.m.
• Tuesday: No court
• Wednesday:
  • First and Second Wednesdays: Jury and Bench Trials (walk-in matters are not permitted)
  • Third and Fourth Wednesdays: Arraignments
• Thursday: No court
• Friday: No court

In-custody matters may be scheduled on any business day with appropriate notice to all parties.

Municipal Court is held on the second floor of City Hall, located at:

500 SW Dorion Ave.

Please note that the rear entrance off Emigrant Avenue is no longer accessible. All visitors must enter City Hall through the main entrance.
