Monthly on the last Tuesday, 6 - 7pm until Tue, Dec 29 2026
Banned Book Club takes place on September 29th at 6PM at the Pendleton Public Library

Banned Book Club is a monthly book club for high school students who want to explore young adult fiction with a history of being challenged and/or banned in schools and libraries.

Each month, participants will read an assigned title and come together to share their thoughts, reactions, and favorite moments.

We’ll also discuss why each book may have been challenged or banned, consider different perspectives, and talk about the importance of the freedom to read.

At the end of every meeting, club members will vote on the next book to add to the reading list.
