It’s time to Level Up and geek out at The Pendleton Public Library. The library is capping its summer reading program this year with the 5th Annual Library Comic Con on Saturday, August 2nd, from 12:30-4:30 p.m.
The first year included mostly craft activities and a loose costume contest, and the event has grown bigger and better every year. This year’s event includes a dozen vendors and non-stop programming throughout the afternoon. The event culminates with the live Costume Contest at 4 p.m. where judges will score contestants and award prizes for best and most creative costumes for adults, teens, and children.
Registration for the costume contest is open and available online or in-person at the Pendleton Public Library. Read more about the costume contest at https://www.pendletonor.gov/library/page/library-comic-con-costume-contest-registration
